INDEPENDENT PLATFORM · HARDWARE-INDEPENDENT · REAL-TIME DATA · API INTEGRATIONS · SCALABLE

One central foundation for better property management

Within property management, energy data often comes from multiple sources. This may include main meters, submeters, building management systems, supplier portals, spreadsheets and separate dashboards.

As a result, collecting and validating data takes time. It also becomes more difficult to compare buildings, identify anomalies early and allocate energy costs transparently.

EnergyGrip brings this information together in one central environment. This creates a reliable foundation for:
  • Energy monitoring
  • Building and portfolio management
  • Reporting and sustainability
  • Billing and cost allocation
  • Maintenance and optimisation
  • Insights for tenants and residents

Instead of working with disconnected data sources, you use one platform that makes energy information clear and immediately actionable.

From insight to better building performance

An energy bill or monthly report mainly shows what has already happened. Active energy management requires more current and better-structured data.

EnergyGrip continuously monitors the consumption and performance of buildings. This makes it easier to identify where energy use deviates, which buildings perform differently than expected and where optimisation may be possible.

This helps you to:
  • Identify unnecessary energy consumption sooner
  • Align installations more closely with actual usage
  • Carry out maintenance more effectively
  • Monitor the results of sustainability measures
  • Compare buildings and locations
  • Support reports with reliable data
  • Allocate energy costs transparently

Energy data becomes a practical tool for both daily property management and long-term strategy.

One independent platform for all energy data

EnergyGrip brings data from different energy sources together in one energy management platform.

This includes:
  • Electricity
  • Gas
  • Water
  • Heat
  • Solar panels
  • EV charging points
  • Batteries
  • Main meters
  • Submeters
  • Data from building management systems
  • External data sources and APIs
Within EnergyGrip, you can:
  • Monitor consumption and generation
  • Analyse current and historical data
  • Compare buildings and periods
  • Structure connections and submeters
  • Detect anomalies and peaks
  • Configure alerts
  • Calculate CO₂ emissions
  • Apply degree-day corrections
  • Create benchmarks
  • Prepare graphs and reports
  • Export data or share it through APIs
  • Make data available for billing

EnergyGrip operates independently of meter brands, energy suppliers and manufacturers. This allows you to manage data from a wide range of buildings and technical environments within one platform.

Reliable submetering for transparent cost allocation

In buildings with a single main connection, energy use per tenant, home, apartment or commercial unit is not automatically visible.

With EnergyGrip, data from submeters can be collected and processed centrally. This creates a reliable foundation for:

  • Insight per tenant or usage unit
  • Transparent allocation of energy costs
  • Support for service charges and billing
  • Analysis of consumption per apartment or space
  • Comparisons between users and periods
  • Communication about energy use

Where local data collection is required, Nextalink can be used to automatically read existing submeters and securely send the data to EnergyGrip.

This means existing metering equipment does not automatically need to be replaced.

EnergyGrip voor installateurs

Without a gateway where possible. With a gateway where necessary.

Does a building already have digital metering equipment, ODA data, a building management system or a usable API? This data can often be made available directly in EnergyGrip.

Is additional on-site data collection required? Nextalink can be used to read existing meters and installations.

The combination of direct integrations, APIs, ODA data and Nextalink makes it possible to manage a wide range of buildings and technical environments within the same EnergyGrip platform.

This allows you to use existing infrastructure where possible and add hardware only where necessary.

How EnergyGrip works for real estate

1. Select a building or portfolio

We start with a specific situation. This could be an apartment complex, office building, healthcare facility, retail property, multi-tenant business centre or an entire real estate portfolio.

2. Map meters and systems

Together, we assess which main meters, submeters, installations, building management systems and other data sources are already available.

3. Connect the data to EnergyGrip

Existing digital data sources are connected directly or through APIs wherever possible. When local data collection is required, Nextalink can be used.

4. Configure buildings and users

Buildings, locations, connections, submeters and users are clearly structured. Dashboards, alerts and access permissions can then be configured.

5. Use the data for management and billing

Monitor energy performance, identify anomalies and use reliable metering data for reporting, cost allocation, maintenance and sustainability.

6. Share insights with end users

Give tenants, residents, property owners or other stakeholders access to relevant energy data through EnergyGrip or EnergyFlip.
